'Meat' Balls

Spaghetti and “Meatballs”


I package turkey meatballs (can be found in grocer’s freezer case or meat department)

2 jars of your favorite spaghetti sauce (watch the fat content – no more than 2 grams per half cup)

3 tbsps. red wine

1 tbsp. sugar


Simmer sauce with red wine and sugar until hot.  Add turkey meatballs and heat through thoroughly – at least 20 minutes.  Serve over pasta, preferably whole wheat.  Sprinkle with low fat shredded cheese, if desired.
